CUE partners with AICA USA (US section of the International Association of Art Critics) to present the Young Art Critic Mentoring Program. AICA's Mentoring Committee appoints established art critics as mentors for emerging writers to oversee the writing of a critical, analytical essay about a CUE exhibition, which is then published in the corresponding catalogue. Writers are selected directly by the mentor or are approved after submitting an application to CUE.

AICA USA, headquartered in New York, is the largest national AICA group, with membership of over 400 distinguished critics, curators, scholars, and art historians across the country.

Writers are also encouraged to submit to on-verge.org, CUE & AICA's blog featuring contemporary art criticism.
