About

CUE’s Modern ArtWorks program gives elementary through high school students in New York City the opportunity to experience contemporary art, and creatively respond to it by making and exhibiting their own work. Students visit CUE with their fellow classmates and participate in an on-site workshop led by the exhibiting artist and/or an arts educator who helps them discuss the art in the gallery. in the weeks following their visit, the students create their own paintings and sculptural works. CUE Modern ArtWorks are priced at $50 each. All proceeds from sales are divided between the artist/student and their school.
